CDC Traveling Requirements

Updated CDC Travelling requirements

Starting August 1, 2024 – The CDC updated policies regarding new requirements for dogs
traveling or imported to the United States.

Please ensure that you follow specific travel requirements and make preparations
ahead of time for traveling with your pet.

Entry Requirements for Dogs from Dog-Rabies Free or Low-Risk Countries

Scroll down to the CDC Dog Import Form – click link to complete the digital form.
Fill out form and hit submit to electronically register your pet.

Traveling to Canada

Taking your Pet to Hawaii 

Here are the requirements for traveling with your pet to Hawaii, please contact our office at least

45-60 days prior to planned travel.

International Travel

Each country has different requirements which results in different waiting periods, when traveling internationally. These requirements can take 60 days up to a year, please contact our office prior to scheduling travel. Our doctors are USDA certified and can do Health Certificates to many countries but not to all.
